I wind the wool by hand and use West Australian wool tops which I felt using organic soap nuts. They weigh approx 3-7 g and are approx. 4 cms all the way round so little but smaller than a tennis ball. If you like hard textured wool balls, just wash them in washing machine with rinse program and wool balls become much harder.
Please ensure you are responsible for supervising your children and pets whilst playing with this toy. This is made of pure wool and therefore has wool fibres, so be careful if it gets chewed.

CARE: wool has a natural self-cleaning characteristic, so a full bath is rarely necessary. Wipe dirt and dust off with a clean, dry cloth. Use a vacuum. You can wash wool ball with washing machine, only use wool washing program.
